Creating Homes in Portland Where Working Families Can Live Close to Where They Work
Astounded by the price of housing today?

Familiar with the difficulty that many families have finding a home they can afford?

Be part of the solution to build homes that working families can afford to buy. Join our campaign to create affordable housing in Portland Maine!

Greater Portland Community Land Trust is a non- profit corporation organized to develop affordable housing for families and individuals who have been priced out of the housing market. We are raising funds to develop our first project in Portland. Already twenty families and individuals have signed up about buying one of our homes. Because the cost of construction is so high, we are working to raise $500,000 to bring the prices of our units within reach of the teachers and healthcare workers who have shown an interest in our project. Help support working people who want to live close to where they work, making Portland a great place to live and work, by contributing any amount you can afford. Your donation will make these homes affordable to  working families now and forever in the future.
