The Greater Portland Community Land Trust is a group of local residents working together to develop and sustain affordable, community-owned housing in Portland, Maine and the surrounding area. Our goal is to purchase property and hold the land in shared trust for perpetuity, ensuring that low-to-mid income people always have a place to call home in our community.

Portland Recovery Community Garden

A group of folks in recovery from alcoholism and drug addiction are working together to start a new community garden in Portland where we can grow a bunch of veggies!

The garden is at the intersection of Allen Ave. and Washington Ave. on a lot that Will Zinn, a local landlord in long-term recovery, owns and has generously shared with us. Come join us! Whether or not you personally identify as being in recovery, everybody is welcome to come help!

We’re also actively seeking out materials – if you have top soil, mulch, seeds, extra tools etc. that you’re willing to donate, that’d be a total blessing!

Garden Address:
310 Allen Ave.
Portland, ME 04103
